What kinds of information do we collect?
Information you provide
We collect the following information you, or your company provide us with directly:
- Your name, job title, e-mail address and phone number when you, or your company register for the 123Carbonplatform;
- Content (e.g., Intervention and Token data) that you supply to us for use of the Service;
- Communications between you and 123Carbon.
Log file information
We collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Service. This log file information may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics.
Metadata is usually technical data that is associated with Content. For instance, metadata can describe how, when and by whom a piece of User Content was collected and how that content is formatted. Users can add or may have metadata added to their Content including a hashtag (e.g. to mark keywords to a photo), geotag (e.g. to mark your location to a photo), comments or other data.
Purposes of processing data
By using our Service, you leave certain information with us, for example by creating an account. This contains data such as name, job title, e-mail address, place of residence and telephone number. 123Carbon collects and processes this data to make our services accessible. We also collect information about your Computer (such as IP address, browser type and operating system) so that we can improve our services. The personal data will not be provided to third parties unless we are obliged to do so on the basis of legislation and regulations.
Legal basis for processing data

If you remove information that you posted to the Service, copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages of the Service, or if other Users or third parties have copied, downloaded, or saved that information.
Change of control
Legal requests and preventing harm
We may access, preserve and share your information in response to a legal request (like a search warrant, court order or subpoena) if we have a good faith belief that the law requires us to do so. We may also access, preserve and share information when we have a good faith belief it is necessary to: detect, prevent and address fraud and other illegal activity; to protect ourselves, you and others, including as part of investigations. Information we receive about you may be accessed, processed and retained for an extended period of time when it is the subject of a legal request or obligation, governmental investigation, or investigations concerning possible violations of our terms or policies, or otherwise to prevent harm.

123Carbon has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures by using the latest technologies to protect your information against loss or unlawful processing. We use safeguards to help keep the information collected through the Service secure and take steps (such as requesting two-factor-authentication at login) to verify your identity before granting you access to your account. However, 123Carbon cannot ensure the security of any information you transmit to 123Carbon or guarantee that information on the Service may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed. We request you to do your part to help us. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your unique password and account information, and for controlling access to emails between you and 123Carbon, at all times. We are not responsible for the functionality, privacy, or security measures of any other organization.
In accordance with the law, 123Carbon does not retain data any longer than is required for attaining the purposes for which they were collected unless 123Carbon is obliged to do so based on a legal provision.
